Spring Baptism
In the Christian tradition, Baptism is a deeply meaningful sacrament.
In Romans, Paul says when we are baptized, it is as though we are joining Jesus on his journey of death, burial and resurrection. Entering into the waters is a powerful symbol of dying to our old way of life and being raised to new life in union with Jesus.
It represents a personal declaration of faith and a way of saying to God that you want to live in alignment with Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Whether you are new to the faith or feel as though baptism may be the next step for you, we encourage you to prayerfully consider this opportunity.
We will journey with you through the fullness of what is means to be a Christian:
What does it mean to believe and follow Jesus Christ?
What does it mean that I am a child of God?
What does it mean to be part of the church and the people of God?
How does Baptism fit into all of this?
Special note for parents: an invitation for baptism for kids ages 12 and under will be coming later this year. We will journey you on how to approach and discern with your kids
