Growing as a Christian is a lifelong journey.

We understand discipleship as a process that increasingly forms our character into the character of Christ. As a result, God reorients our lives around the mission of Jesus Christ. Christian formation is becoming people like Jesus who engage in His mission where they live and work.

As a community, we equip one another for the work of the ministry - ordinary people proclaiming the gospel in the power of the Spirit. We believe proximity facilitates more opportunity for our lives to intersect in natural ways. Believers who commit to an area together practice incarnation. As a community, we are better together than as individuals and contribute to meaningful neighbourhood transformation.

God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love - like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.

- Ephesians 4:14-16 (MSG)

What are Formation Groups?

Think of them as intimate groups of people engaging together the practices of Christian life: Scripture, Fellowship, Prayer, and Confession.

These are groups committed to loving God, loving people and seeking the common good of our neighbourhood. In a culture of isolation, we believe in meaningful connection between different generations, backgrounds and interests.

Throughout the city, each Formation Group meets on a weekly basis and takes part in various events such as: sharing in meals together, games, discussion, interacting with God through the Bible, and prayer for the church, neighbourhood and city.

We believe that in the kingdom of God, no one needs to wear a mask. Loving people means we care about others and extend grace in the challenges of life.
