An Easter Blood Drive is taking place on March 23 to 30. The need for blood is constant. While 1 in 2 Canadians are eligible to donate, only 1 in 81 do. A city-wide blood drive campaign is being mobilized by Love Ottawa and CHRI. We are joining with other churches in creating awareness of this ongoing and pressing need. In the season of Lent as we look to the Christ who gave his life for us, we are invited to give in this particularly valuable and practical way.

Support Needed for Barrhaven Food Cupboard

Our local Barrhaven Food Cupboard has been a beacon of hope for those facing food insecurity since 1993. Rising food costs have led to an unsustainable monthly deficit of $30,000. They are at risk of closing if they do not raise $180k by year’s end.

On September 3rd, we want to invite each one of you to be part of an impactful response to this need.
