Spiritual Stories: Being Rooted Together

New and existing formation groups are invited into journey together through our Spiritual Stories Series.

We hope to rediscover in a fresh way, that being a church is to live more fully into the welcoming presence of God. It is to to live our lives with an increased attentiveness to Him together. It is appreciating that the relationships in our lives are part of this growing awareness of Him. This is both for our sake and for the sake of the world.

This 8 week series aims to reconnect our personal experience of God in our experience of togetherness. How is God uniquely at work among and within us? Jesus, as theologian Dallas Willard puts us, lived in a way, where in “his eyes this is a God-bathed and God- permeated world. It is a world filled with a glorious reality, where every component is within the range of God’s direct knowledge and control”

This series is designed with a journey in mind. It’s a journey to be taken with others that are open to walking it. It could be with folks you don’t know quite well yet or with long time friends. It could be a church small group or even budding friendships. It’s designed not with one leader in mind, but that groups can walk together and have the space to hear each others’ stories. This means, facilitators can change week to week. Their role is help manage time for all to share and open and close a session.
